Features

Suzuki Intelligent Ride System (S.I.R.S.): A complete set of features with a 6-axis Bosch IMU that helps with advanced functions like Motion Track Traction Control and Brake System. Riders can set up the system using SDMS-α to get the best performance in different riding conditions.

Bi-Directional Quick Shifter: Let’s riders shift up and down without using the clutch, and it works with an assist/slipper clutch for smooth shifting.

This makes the bike more agile on tracks and highways without losing power.

Smart Cruise Control (2025 Update): Keeps the bike at a set speed even when using the quick shifter, perfect for long trips.

It also works well with the Active Speed Limiter for precise control.

Launch Control: Helps get the bike moving quickly from a stop by controlling wheel spin and traction.

The 2025 version has new engine speeds for better acceleration. It ensures the bike can consistently go from 0 to 100 kmph.

Motion Track Brake System: Uses the IMU to adjust braking force based on how the bike is leaning and the slope.

This stops the wheels from locking up during sharp turns.

Three Riding Modes: Basic, Sport, and Ultimate Sport let riders choose how the power is delivered, how much traction is used, and how much engine braking is applied. There are also three power modes for different riding styles.

Hill Hold Control & Slope Dependent Control: Keeps the bike from rolling back on hills and adjusts ABS based on the slope. This makes riding more confident on different types of terrain.

Brembo Stylema Callipers: High-performance 4-piston front brakes on 320mm discs with switchable dual-channel ABS.

These brakes offer strong stopping power and better control.

Adjustable Aerodynamic Windscreen: Can be electronically adjusted to block wind, reducing rider fatigue during high-speed rides.

It also works with SRAD intakes to improve top speed performance.

Hayabusa Sales History in India: Discontinuation Period

As a result of the implementation of the new BS6 emission standards across India in 2020, Suzuki ceased producing/selling their highly regarded Hayabusa motorcycle in India at that time. The final version created under BS4 standards was produced in March 2020; however, due to the necessary time required to re-engineer the Hayabusa to meet the new emission regulations before the end of March 2020, dealerships began clearing out their existing inventory of Hayabusa motorcycles following the BS4 standard before the introduction of the BS6 standard. Consequently, no new Hayabusa models were registered for sale after March 2020, and it remained unavailable for purchase thereafter.

Cameback Reasons

The third-generation Hayabusa came back in February 2021, coinciding with the implementation of Phase 2 of the BS6 regulations. The initial version featured upgraded electrical components (including computerised real-time display of key data on the dashboard) and an all-new engine from its predecessor (now measuring 1340cc).

It was manufactured as “Complete Knock Down” assembly kits so they could be put together locally to save time and money. The launch price was Rs 16.90 Lakh, which resulted in its rapid sale due to its notoriety from films such as Dhoom and occupying the second largest segment of the superbike market (with a projected sales volume (in FY25) of 57% of the total).

The Hayabusa experienced additional developments, including colour options, compliance with the new OBD2 emissions standards, and the result of increases in September. GST rate in 2025 will now see the Hayabusa with an ex-showroom price of Rs 18.06 Lakh. The newer version will offer more advanced features, which will provide most of the comfort and power. The new Hayabusa 2025 is ready to compete with all the competitors to give the best performance.
